Mr. Yash Vardhan Birla aged 35 years, is the Promoter and Managing Director of Oremet Alloys And Castings Limited. He was appointed as the Director of the Company on August 5, 2021 and subsequently, appointed as Managing Director with effect from November 4, 2024. Mr. Birla holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore, obtained in 2012, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai, obtained in 2014. With extensive experience in the ferro alloys sector, Mr. Yash Vardhan Birla has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic insight, and commitment to the Company. He has played a pivotal role in driving the Company’s key initiatives and has contributed significantly to operational excellence. His visionary leadership and innovative approach have been instrumental in the Company’s growth and success. Mr. Abhishek Birla aged 33 years, is a Promoter of Oremet Alloys And Castings Limited and serves as a Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He completed his B.Com. (Hons.) degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and has cleared the CA Intermediate (IPCC) examinations. Thereafter, he pursued further studies in Business Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai. Mr. Abhishek Birla has been associated with the Company since its incorporation. Furthermore, he has over five years of work experience in the ferro alloys industry. His professional experience includes exposure to accounting, financial activities, project-related matters and business operations within the ferro alloys sector.
Mrs. Prachi Birla aged 36 years, is the Non-Executive Director of Oremet Alloys And Castings Limited. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing from JD Birla Institute, Kolkata. She has been associated with the Company since its incorporation and plays a significant role in the Company’s Marketing Division. She also possesses considerable experience in Human Resource Management. She has also completed a Fashion Advance course from Bhawanipur Design Academy.
Ms. Surabhi Birla, aged 32 years, is one of the Non-Executive Directors of Oremet Alloys and Castings Limited. She was appointed to the Board with effect from November 4, 2024. She completed her schooling up to the 10th grade from Sushila Birla Girls School and completed her higher secondary education from Mayo College Girls School, Ajmer. She holds a BBA (Honours) degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. Thereafter, she pursued her passion for baking at Le Cordon Bleu, Adelaide, Australia. She was appointed to the Board with effect from November 4, 2024.
Mr. Pulak Chatterjee, aged 70 years, is one of the Independent Directors of Oremet Alloys and Castings Limited. He completed his B.Com. (Hons.) degree and M.Com. degree from the University of Calcutta. He also obtained his LL.B. degree from the University of Calcutta and cleared his Chartered Accountancy examinations in 1993. He has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) since then. He has been practising as a Chartered Accountant for over 20 years.
Mr. Anupam Agarwal, aged 34 years, is one of the Independent Directors of Oremet Alloys and Castings Limited. He completed his B.Com. (Hons.) degree from Umesh Chandra College, affiliated with the University of Calcutta, Kolkata. He has over five years of work experience in the sales and distribution business of beverages.
